Every Mamasara Alpaca piece is made from natural alpaca fibre, renowned for its softness, lightness and durability.
To preserve its original appearance over time, we recommend following these care instructions.

Washing

• Hand wash in cold water.
• Use a mild detergent, preferably one designed for delicate garments.
• Do not rub or wring.

If machine washing, use a delicate cycle only and always place the piece inside a protective laundry bag.

Drying

• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry flat on a clean surface.
• Avoid hanging the piece, as this may cause it to lose its shape.

Ironing

• If necessary, iron at a low temperature.
• Steam is preferable.
• Avoid direct exposure to high temperatures.

Storage

• Store folded in a dry place.
• Avoid hanging for long periods.
• Protect from moisture.

Everyday care

Alpaca fibre is naturally resilient and does not require frequent washing.
We recommend:

• Airing the piece after use.
• Avoiding prolonged contact with rough surfaces.

Considerations

As alpaca is a natural fibre, slight variations in texture or how it responds to wear may occur.
These characteristics are part of the material’s authenticity.
